Riot Games is releasing the first Louis Vuitton skin for League of Legends. The skin, True Damage Qiyana Prestige Edition, has the champion’s weapon covered in the iconic Louis Vuitton pattern. This Qiyana skin was designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s artistic director of women’s collections. The skin is the first of two confirmed to be coming; Senna, another member of League of Legends music project True Damage, will be getting a Prestige Edition skin designed by Ghesquière in early 2020.
Revealed in a press release and on Twitter, the skins bring a new level of couture to LoL’s already impressive character artwork. Qiyana’s new Prestige skin (from Riot Games via the Washington Post) – was designed by the fashion house’s artistic director for women’s collections, Nicolas Ghesquière, and shows her kitted out in a chic hip-hop-style ensemble with lace detail, and adorned with giant gold earrings and a belt purse bearing the LV logo. The collection is mainly based around Qiyana, one of the newest League champions that had one of its skins designed by Vuitton’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière. It features over 30 different items, including shirts, hoodies, trousers, and more.
Interested fans can purchase the hip-hop girls group’s character skins on the day that the finals kick-off, which is on November 10. On the other hand, Qiyana’s Prestige Skin will only be available when playing games during the in-game event. It will be solely unlockable until a few days later by November 25.
