EA SPORTS has confirmed that the FIFA 21 TOTY (Team of the Year) promotion will soon be featured in Ultimate Team mode, and the community will be able to decide which players will be chosen through voting.

However, with voting yet to open for FIFA 21 Team of the Year it’s unlikely that the 2021 range of TOTY cards will release that early – especially since the Headliners promotion is still running.

According to Goal, the Headliners promotion is running until January 14 – so we could see the FIFA 21 Team of the Year cards released soon after that.

Friday January 15 or Monday January 18 launch seem like good candidates for a possible FIFA 21 TOTY release date.

Alisson was named as the goalkeeper in the World XI, but is not expected to be in the FIFA 21 squad as Manuel Neuer was named the Best Goalkeeper of the Year by multiple outlets.

When does the TOTY start?
There is still no official start date for the event. Since the 2nd Headliners team has been announced for this week and the election phase does not end until January 18th, a start can only be expected after this date.
